As part of our mission to improve heart health in the Niagara Region, Heart Niagara offers CPR, AED, and Standard First Aid training courses to the public.
At Heart Niagara, we are committed to providing high-quality training and services. To ensure a smooth experience, we have outlined the following refund policy for all of our training programs:
Refund Eligibility: A request for refund must submitted at least 14 days prior to the course start date to be eligible. Please send your refund request to ally.kerr@heartniagara.com
*All refunds are subject to a 25% administration fee.
Missed Courses & Rescheduling:
If a student cannot attend a scheduled course, they should notify ally.kerr@heartniagara.com 24 hours prior to the course start. Heart Niagara will offer a one-time courtesy reschedule at no cost.
If a student does not provide advanced notices and misses the course, they will be ineligible for any refund. Rescheduling for an alternative course will be subject to a $15 rescheduling fee
Course Cancellations by Heart Niagara:
In the event a course is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
After registering you will be sent the online portion of the course to your email.
Yes. For Blended Standard First Aid, participants must complete the online portion first and bring their temporary certificate to Day 2, which is the in-class skills training and testing session.
First Aid certification is valid for 3 years. CPR certification is valid for 1 year.
Yes. Heart Niagara’s Standard First Aid courses meet WSIB standards and include Level C CPR/AED training.
